Open Meadow Builders LLC is seeking an experienced Lead Carpenter to play a key role in bringing beautiful homes to life while mentoring a talented crew. Responsibilities:
Lead projects efficiently, ensuring timely completion and setting a positive example for the crew.
Develop and manage tools, equipment, and materials to maintain workflow and minimize delays.
Maintain jobsite safety, adhering to OSHA standards, and ensure proper dust protection for client homes.
Coordinate with subcontractors, manage communication with clients, architects, and the team, and handle schedule updates.
Address project issues, run client meetings, and manage city/town inspections.
Perform carpentry tasks, assign tasks to carpenters, and ensure readiness for upcoming trades.
Identify potential change orders and assist with pricing, ordering materials, and project scheduling.
Ensure punch list completion, record daily logs and time, and manage receipts accurately.
Requirements:
Report to jobsite Mon-Friday 7:30-4:00. With optional over time as requested/approved.
Have and maintain Construction Supervisor License and Lead Safe Certificate
Maintain reliable and professional transportation capable of transporting personal tools to and from jobsite which may change daily at times, may be requested to transport materials and/or company equipment.
Have and maintain, in good working order, a complete set of hand tools Company to provide major power tools and equipment onsite.
Ability to enter daily job logs into project management software
High school diploma. 5 + years' experience in residential construction.

Compensation & Benefits:
$35 to $42 per hour based on experience
