Mechanic – Equipment Operator

General Summary:
We are currently seeking to hire an individual to oversee our equipment operations on a daily basis. Must have the ability to confidently drive a truck and trailer. Perform diesel repair and understand small engines to maintain performance.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
● Troubleshoot repair issues which occur to keep equipment/vehicles onsite generating revenue
● Operate heavy equipment when required
● Help maintain yard, warehouse and inventory
● Ability to work alone and stay on task
● And other duties as required
Skills and Qualifications
● High School diploma or equivalent
● Mechanic experience
● An analytical, problem-solving personality with the ability to negotiate and build relationships with vendors
● Must have superior organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
● Ability to effectively communicate with team members and other departments and work as part of a team
● Willingness to support projects and tasks and learn new skills as needed.
Goals and Objectives: To ensure the fleet is operating at maximum efficiency and the yard is safe and secure.
