Job Description: Mobile Road Tech-Performs activities associated with the maintenance, repair and installation of commercial and residential generator equipment, industrial equipment, and related electronic components in New England. Investigates and resolves customer reports of technical problems. Works as directed to eliminate future operational or service difficulties by performing planned/scheduled maintenance, unscheduled maintenance, and necessary repairs.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

Provides planned maintenance and repairs for our customers’ equipment.

Provides on-site technical services to troubleshoot and repair equipment.

Installs or supports the installation of new or modified equipment at customer's location to ensure full functionality according to specifications.

Reviews performance reports and documentation. Inspects and troubleshoots malfunctioning or damaged equipment, to determine nature and scope of problem, and recommend repair, replacement, or other corrective action.

Serves as a solutions provider for our customers while implementing available resources such as technical knowledge, training, support staff and factory support.

Exhibit excellent professional communication skills as you will function as a main contact with our customers, expediting solutions and providing valuable feedback to Kraft Power.

Participates in training on the technical particulars and safe operations of the equipment.

Training program

Competencies & Qualifications:

Experience repairing either engines, generators, propulsion systems, turbines, motors, or gears.

Working knowledge and understanding of electricity. Computer skills required.

Willingness and ability to travel.

Ability to function as a member of a team.

Get-it-done attitude.

High school, technical school, or GED equivalent required.

Valid driver's license

Preference:

Professional experience and training with leading manufacturers (Kohler, Scania, Deutz, CAT, Cummins, Generac, Perkins, Mitsubishi, Ford, MAN, MTU, Hamilton Jet)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: starting $32.00 - $40.00 per hour
