Function: Participate in all activities related to the accomplishment of specific jobs. Adhere to all safety items and follow the policies and procedures of the HDF Employee Handbook.
Organizational Relationship: Reports to Crew Leader/Production Manager
Scope of Responsibility: As delegated by the Crew leader, efficiently carry out painting and paint related duties in a professional and skillful manner. Plays an active role in the training of our Apprentice and Trainee employees. Ensure that all duties are carried out properly and within the time frame prescribed by the Crew Leader. Key items: master the fine art of painting and continue to be a valuable teammate.
Duties and Competencies:
-Demonstrates a clear understanding of preparation procedures, i.e. floor protection, sanding, caulking, sealing, etc. according to the HDF standard procedures.
-Perform the following without supervision: interior and exterior painting set-up, surface preparation, painting, clean-up, punch-list and close the job.
-Must exhibit a high-level of competence and high degree of craftsmanship in all phases of painting.
-Must maintain a positive attitude during all work hours and exhibit a sense of cooperation and teamwork with all employees, subcontractors and clients.
