Well established real estate company that has a portfolio of self-owned properties and managed properties, is seeking a maintenance person.
The needs range from small, day-to-day maintenance needs to assistance with renovations of property.
We are seeking someone who is skilled in basic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical.
Examples of jobs that are common:
-fixing garbage disposals
-appliance installation (installing of dishwashers and clothes washers after they have been delivered)
-fixing running toilets or toilets rings that are leaking
-caulking and tiling in bathrooms
-window repairs
-sealing of holes in kitchens to prevent mice access & laying of mouse traps
-basic landscaping
-snow removal
-painting
-door repairs
Somewhat larger tasks, that are less frequent (not 100% required, but great if you can do)
-hot water tank replacement / repair
-electrical breaker replacement
-masonry work
If you are really skilled, there are opportunities for full apartment renovations.
The work is part-time. Sometimes full days of work at a time. Other times there may be a week where there is very little work.
