We have a team of over 70 skilled and experienced roofers who work on various types of roofs, but primarily flat, metal and shingle. Job summary:
We are looking for a mechanically inclined individual to work in our sheet metal shop located in Marshfield. Experience is a plus, but training will be provided for the right candidate. Your role will be to fabricate various edge metals, scuppers, gutters, downspouts, etc., as required by each job. Our shop is equipped with a brake and shear, which are the main pieces of equipment utilized. Sheet metal production is the primary role; however, you will be required to assist in other areas, such as making deliveries and keeping the shop organized.
Job responsibilities:
-Arriving on time, ready to work
-fulfilling metal orders in a timely manner and being able to prioritize order deadlines
-operating a forklift (we will train and provide certification course)
-operating equipment safely
-using hand tools such as drill, metal snips, hand benders, rivet gun, pneumatic hammer
Job requirements:
-Attention to detail and accuracy
-Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
-Ability to work independently
-Ability to communicate well with office staff and foremen
-Experience in sheet metal fabrication or the roofing industry is a plus
