Job Description: We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Teardown/Reassembly Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for dismantling vehicles, diagnosing damage, and carefully reassembling them after repairs. Your attention to detail and technical expertise will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform teardown of vehicles to identify damaged components.
Document damage and create detailed reports for estimators.
Collaborate with estimators and repair technicians to develop repair plans.
Reassemble vehicles with precision, ensuring all parts are correctly installed.
Conduct quality control inspections to verify repairs are completed to industry standards.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Follow all safety protocols and shop procedures.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Teardown/Reassembly Technician or in a similar role.
Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of automotive systems.
Attention to detail and ability to work methodically.
Proficiency with hand and power tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
High school diploma or equivalent.
