WestRock Industrial Maintenance Technician FULL-TIME $39/hr 365 Audubon Rd, Wakefield, MA 01880 - Work on a variety of mechanical and electrical tasks. - Ensure production machinery functions correctly and efficiently - Perform preventative maintenance on all machinery - Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic, electrical, hydraulic, compressor, and vacuum systems and work with steam and boiler controls and mechanical power drives, electrical equipment/systems and control circuits, 3 Phase Motors and Programmable Logical Controls (PLC) - Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures and actively participate in our safety program - Be responsible for timely and accurate paperwork. Schedule - Shift start: 7:00AM or 3:00PM - Shift length: 8 hours - Days: Must be available to work weekends and Overtime Benefits - Health, dental, vision insurance available after 90 days - Paid time off - 401k Requirements - Strong working knowledge of mechanical gearboxes, timing, alignment, etc. - Strong working knowledge of conveyors, motors, hydraulics, and pneumatics. - Experience repairing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and other components. - The ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical prints. - The ability to reference equipment manuals and other technical literature. - Basic understanding and application of precision maintenance. - Maintaining clean and organized work areas and cleaning up work areas as part of completing assigned tasks. - Advanced knowledge of shop tools (welding equipment, bandsaws, drill presses, hydraulic presses, etc.) - Experience in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical and preferred electrical background - Corrugated/Box maintenance experience a plus but not required - Must be at least 18+ years old - Must pass drug screen (cannabis included) - Must pass background check - Can lift 25 lbs About WestRock WestRock Company manufactures and sells paper and packaging solutions for the consumer and corrugated markets in North America, South America, Europe, Australia, and Asia.
