- I'm looking for a co-driver to make deliveries in the Boston area and all over New England. Most days you drive half the day, and I drive half the day. It’s a small box truck: drives almost like a car, easy to learn if you haven’t already.
- Usually about 5 deliveries a day—I try to keep days to no more than 9 hours.
- Experienced preferred, but I'm willing to train the right candidate.
- I try to work smart, not hard, but you still need to be in great shape to deliver furniture, obviously, and be happy to work hard.
- Must be willing and able to listen and follow instructions carefully. Once you know the drill and your muscles are trained, we just rock and roll—little needs to be said.
- Pay starts at $20 per hour (W2), plus tips (cash). We average over $100 a day in tips, and we split it 50/50.
- It's a part-time position to start with potential for full time, but these days you'll likely hit 30 to 40 hours anyway.
- Must have your own vehicle to get to work in Holbrook. I commute from Natick, if you happen to leave in my area we could potentially carpool sometimes too.
REUIREMENTS
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a 5-panel drug test and get a DOT medical card (company paid)
- Pass a background check (CORI)
- At least 21 years old
- Must be able to lift and handle heavy items
- Be reliable and be at work on time (8AM in Holbrook)
- Be able to listen and follow instructions
