Drivers are responsible for transporting packages from our warehouse location to the proper locations. Their duties include loading parcels into their vehicle, using a navigation system to map their route and delivering parcels to the correct addresses in a timely manner. They are expected to provide excellent customer service and always represent our company in a professional manner.
Optima prefers to work with Master Contractors that have multiple drivers, but is willing to work with independent contractors. Our routes cover most of MA and into NH. We require a mini- van /cargo van/sprinter. Vehicles must be registered. Please no trucks or small vehicles.
Duties/Responsibilities/Overview
-Drivers are expected to fully complete their daily assigned routes while providing top-tier customer service to Optima’s delivery customers.
-Drivers must be available Monday - Saturday
-We require a valid Drivers License and valid insurance with $100/$300 in liability
-Our routes run 6 days a week, typically leave by 9am and average about 800 pieces per week. The rates go from $1.75 to $3.00 per piece.

Dedicated delivery areas with steady volume.

Ability to pass background check and Motor Vehicle Report requirements
Must be able to provide highest quality customer satisfaction
Must use bar code scanning and electronic signature capture technologies
Ability to understand and use the latest technology to assist with optimized deliveries within your pre-determined routes
