About the Role:
An established Adult Day Health Center is seeking a compassionate, responsible, and experienced Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Haitian Creole and have a strong background in working with elderly individuals, including those with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and mental health conditions.
Position Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Weekend Availability: Required 2 weekends per month
Language Requirement: Fluent in Haitian Creole and English
Key Responsibilities:
Transport clients safely to and from the center on a daily schedule
Accompany participants to doctor’s appointments and run errands as assigned
Assist clients entering and exiting the vehicle
Keep the vehicle clean and in safe operating condition
Communicate effectively with clients, families, and staff in Haitian Creole and English
Ensure passenger safety and comfort at all times
Qualifications:
Fluency in Haitian Creole
Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with seniors, especially those with cognitive or mental health conditions
Active CPR and First Aid certification (required)
Valid Massachusetts driver’s license with a clean driving record
Punctual, professional, and dependable
Availability Monday through Friday (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM) and two weekends per month
