Local/ regional opportunity available to lease on an owner operator:
Dedicated steady freight hauling for one of the worlds most recognized brands
REQUIREMENTS:
Must have valid class A CDL with no transmission restrictions
No moving violations or infractions in the last 3 years
Reliable truck that can accept ELD, (For IFTA purposes) less than 150 air miles
must pass our mechanics inspection as well as local and federal inspections
Prefer 5 plus years of verifiable driving experience
Must have medical card
Must be able to pass DOT drug test
Friendly, professional and courteous demeanor required
Must obey all laws and rules of the road
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lease operators is responsible for;
Maintenance and upkeep of their equipment
Fuel (discount available, operator gets full available discount)
IFTA/jurisdiction road use expenses. EX: CT and NY (lessor will handle all admin and filings)
ELD purchase/fees (lessor will provide, minimal yearly fee)
Plates (plate assistance available, some OOP’s may have plates. Lessor will assist if not)
Bobtail insurance
Insurance premiums, OOP will get insurance through lessors agent
Tolls/ EZ pass required
Trailer use/rental fees (Lessor has trailers, these will be interchangeable, small monthly maintenance fee)
Any fees directly associated to the operation of interstate commerce. EX: HUT/IFTA stickers, 2290, etc…. (Lessor will handle admin filings)
COMPENSATION:
85% of gross plus FSC
Any detention or added accessorial’s
Average weekly gross approx $5,000, approx average gross of $1,000 per day. (400-500 miles per day)
Fuel discount available at AM Best and TA/Petro
Fuel to be paid in full weekly, and will be held/deducted as such
Fees/cost of operations will be deducted weekly and held in a separate escrow account EX: IFTA, road use tax, ELD, etc….
Example of a typical day:
1) Deadhead to CT, deliver load to customer, deadhead back to CT, deliver second load to customer, end day (approx 400 miles) (approx revenue $945)
2) deadhead to CT, deliver load to customer, pickup shuttle to cape cod, return to customer deliver a second shuttle to cape cod, end day (approx 456 miles) (approx revenue $1080.00)
