Description If you have a passion for Human Resources and you're looking for an exciting, new Generalist opportunity, Robert Half has the opportunity for you!This role will involve various HR duties, including recruiting, conducting new hire orientation, updating the employee handbook, and managing employee relations.What you get to do every day:
Create employee engagement plans, including budget approvals and management oversite
Maintain physical and digital files for employees and their documents, including benefits, attendance records, and annual reviews
Engage with other teams, including with upper management, employees, and third-party vendors
Employee relations, including engaging employees and coordinating sensitive conversations
Evaluate employee performance, including assisting with annual reviews, appraising pay scales, and coordinating disciplinary action (including terminations if necessary)
Responsible for operations tasks for the HR department
Design & /or support a recruitment plan according to operational and business projections
Compare local, state, and federal laws to current internal policies and procedures
Develop onboarding plans and train newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures, and regulations
Work with other members of the HR department to manage the hiring and onboarding process for new company employees
Develop official internal documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, salary adjustments, updates to the employee handbook, leave of absences, and warning/termination letters
Design templates for HR documents, including the Employee Handbook
Requirements
Full cycle recruiting experience
B.A. or B.S. degree preferred, preferably with a Human Resources or Psychology emphasis
Strong understanding local, state and federal laws
You will do well in this position if you are able to use good judgment and maintain a high level of confidentiality and sensitivity
Willing to work as part of a team or independently and have the drive to take on a variety of tasks and projects
Excellent written and verbal business skills
Experience using Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
Proficient with social media platforms as well as office computer applications and software
Prior HR Generalist experience
Prior experience or knowledge managing open enrollment is a plus
