Our Upper-Cape H&R Block tax offices in Falmouth, Mashpee, and Sandwich are looking for an experienced and motivated tax professional for seasonal and full-time employment. As a Tax Preparer at H&R Block, you’ll find your work both challenging and rewarding on many levels.
Qualifications Desired:
We’re seeking a client-focused individual with a strong work ethic and extensive tax preparation experience. Full-time availability during tax season is essential. While our highest demand for a Tax Professionals is in Falmouth, opportunities in our Mashpee and Sandwich offices may also be available. Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of experience.
What You’ll Do:
Conduct face-to-face tax interviews with clients
Prepare complete and accurate tax returns for both in-person and drop-off clients
Promote additional products and services
Mentor and support fellow team members
What You’ll Bring:
Experience preparing individual tax returns
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Background in accounting, finance, or bookkeeping (not required)
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to meet IRS requirements and complete continuing education courses (CE)
