Yanis Foreign Auto Repair is seeking an OFFICE SECRETARY OR OFFICE ASSISTANT with the potential opportunity to transition into a service writer role.
We are looking for someone that can handle daily scheduling, communication with customers, and communicating parts with technicians. This job is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM.
This position plays a key role in our company's success. The main responsibilities include professionally presenting and selling the services and repairs recommended by our technicians to customers, creating repair orders, ordering and checking parts, among other tasks. Some of the requirements to be working in our company:
Experienced with TekMetric shop management software NO EXPERIENCE - NO problem
Parts background parts is helpful and big plus.
Making phone calls and following up on RO’s
Ordering and checking parts
Providing updates and communicating with customers, including scheduling, follow up on new and existing RO's.
Applicants must have a professional appearance, an extremely positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and an understanding that we are a team and depend on each other to succeed and grow.
You also must be great with customers, motivated, and honest.
The ability to retain information and build relationships with technicians are key to being successful.
The ability to multitask and work independently and in a team environment.
