Are you a hardworking person who thrives in a fast paced work environment? Do you love dogs? Dog Spaw On Main is now hiring for a Receptionist / Shop Assistant! Previous experience working in the pet industry is desired, however we are willing to train the right candidate. This position is paid hourly, plus tips. This position is a part-time position with the possibility of growing into a full time position. Hours would be every Tuesday-Saturday from 10 pm -5 pm (with 1 Saturday off a month).
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Answering phones & E-mails
Making and rescheduling appointments
Checking our clients in and out
Record keeping in our computer system
Assisting with shop cleaning and end of day procedures
Monitoring the dogs
Assist groomers & bather when needed with various tasks
Qualifications/Requirements:
Must have great customer service
Must have great communication skills, both written & verbal
Ability to lift 50lbs
Must be able to be on your feet all day
Must work well in a team atmosphere
