Camp WingateKirkland in Yarmouth Port is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our Food Service Team. This kitchen assistant role involves a variety of tasks related to food preparation, meal service, and kitchen hygiene.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting with meal preparation
Setting up and maintaining serving stations during meal times
Serving meals to campers and staff with a friendly and welcoming attitude
Cleaning and sanitizing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
Following proper food safety protocols and ensuring compliance with health regulations
Supporting the Head Chef with inventory management and restocking supplies
Qualifications:
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and multitask in a busy kitchen environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility to work weekends
Positive attitude
