Loyal Nine, a nationally-recognized Cambridge Restaurant and Café is looking to add sous chefs, AM cafe cooks and PM line cooks as they continue to build upon an already stellar team.
For sous chef, prior management experience at a similar or fine dining restaurant is preferred but not required. High character, a great attitude, strong culinary foundation, and a desire to work with the best possible ingredients in the city are a must. Applicants should have a strong background in butchery, line cooking, maintaining cleanliness and organization, and should be excited about joining one of the most dynamic kitchen teams in the area. An ability to lead and oversee staff is tantamount to success. Menu input and collaboration will be encouraged, if not required. A desire to work in an enriching environment and become part of a team is essential. Motivated and focused individuals with an interest in furthering their professional education are encouraged to apply.
Cafe Cook and Line Cook candidates will be expected to quickly and efficiently execute and prep their station for daily service. Candidates will have the opportunity to contribute to their every changing menus. A preference for flavor and technique over trends and a desire to work in a positive, supportive environment are essential. Experience is preferred, but not required. Willing to train motivated and hard working culinarians!
