We are looking for an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager, who will be an integral contributor to the overall success of our fine dining establishment, including the restaurant, the bar and private dining space. The Restaurant Manager will direct, coordinate and plan the organization of all food and beverage activities while working closely with our Chef to ensure consistency, budget control, quality of service and product. A successful candidate will have a proven ability to lead a team of restaurant professionals and direct the vision of the highest quality operation. Our manager must employ an urban, sophisticated vibe and enjoy leading in a fast paced, high quality and entertaining dining environment.

Job duties and responsibilities include: (3-5 years of experience)

-Manage and oversee the entire restaurant operation

-Deliver superior guest services and ensure guest satisfaction

-Plan new and update existing menus

-Respond efficiently to customer questions and complaints

-Hire new employees, train, schedule, manage, and lead staff

-Estimate consumption, forecast requirements and maintain inventory

-Control costs and minimize waste

-Nurture a positive working environment

-Implement innovative strategies to improve productivity and sales

-Extensive food and wine knowledge

-Computer literacy

-Proficiency with restaurant management software

-Experience in event planning an asset (commission available)

-Strong leadership, motivational and people skills

-Good financial management skills

-Critical thinker and problem-solving skills

-Team player

-Social Media Savvy

-Good time-management skills

-Well-spoken with great interpersonal and communication skills

-Culinary school diploma or BS degree in Business Administration an asset
