Salary: $65,000–$70,000 per year (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-time, 40-45 hours/week No nights

Position Overview
We’re seeking an experienced Meat Manager to lead our meat department operations. The right candidate is a skilled butcher who values quality cuts, precision, and service, but also wants to escape the stress and politics of corporate grocery settings. You’ll manage day-to-day operations, maintain top-tier food safety standards, and help us continue building a loyal Cape Cod following.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee cutting, trimming, deboning, and packaging of beef, pork, and poultry
Ensure proper handling, storage, and rotation to maintain freshness and quality
Maintain sanitation and food safety compliance in accordance with local health regulations
Order and receive product, monitor inventory, and maintain vendor relationships
Train and lead meat cutters and support staff
Create and execute department specials, promotions, and displays
Uphold quality, consistency, and efficiency standards across the department
Qualifications
3+ years experience in butchery or meat department management
Strong knowledge of meat cutting, yields, and merchandising
Leadership and communication skills with a hands-on attitude
ServeSafe certification (or willingness to obtain)
Positive, team-oriented personality and strong work ethic
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $65,000–$70,000 per year
