Full Time/Part Time Armed Security Officers - Martha's Vineyard

Internal Security Associates, LLC (ISA) is a highly professional private security firm seeking highly qualified personnel to work as armed security officers in the Boston Metro area, North Shore, South Shore, Metro West, Western MA as well as Fall River, New Bedford and Cape Cod areas. Candidates must have significant military, law enforcement or armed security training and experience as indicated below. The position requires strong communication skills, a command presence, report writing capabilities, as well as the ability to act in a customer service capacity. Military and/or law enforcement training and experience is highly desirable.
ISA provides continuous armed security at state government buildings, schools, foreign consulates as well as for many private sector clients. We are a 24/7 company, so team members need to be able to work the shifts and locations as needed by our clients. In addition to the requirement of military, law enforcement or armed security training and experience, this position requires a clean criminal record and a positive employment history. Qualified candidates will undergo extensive interviews as well as comprehensive background/criminal history investigations and drug testing. Candidates with a military background must provide a copy of their latest DD214. Candidates will not be granted an interview for armed positions without the necessary experience and either an unrestricted, employment purposes or non-resident MA Class-A License to Carry Firearms. Selected candidates should expect to be held to standards similar to those found in military and police organizations.
Experience Requirements
Relevant Military and/or Law Enforcement Experience.
AND/OR
Completed Massachusetts Reserve Intermittent Academy or Mass Criminal Justice Training Council and additional relevant Law Enforcement Experience
AND/OR
The ability to demonstrate proficiency in handgun use through qualifications, courses, training, certifications, employment as an armed officer, or other means equivalent to Military or Police training.
