We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pet Groomer to join our new team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a strong background in pet care, grooming, and handling; as well as a desire to work in a beautiful, stress/toxic free environment in the north sides best Dennis Village location.
This role involves providing high-quality grooming services to pets while ensuring their comfort and safety. As a Pet Groomer, you will play a vital role in enhancing the well-being of our furry clients and building lasting relationships with their owners.
Duties:
Perform grooming services including bathing, trimming, and styling of various breeds of dogs (occasionally cats if experienced).
Ensure the safety and comfort of each animal during grooming sessions.
Handle animals with care, employing proper restraint techniques when necessary.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area and equipment.
Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets’ needs, behaviors, and any health concerns observed during grooming.
Provide excellent customer service to build rapport with clients and encourage repeat business.
Skills:
Proven experience in pet grooming is essential.
Strong animal handling skills with the ability to manage various breeds safely.
Familiarity with veterinary technician or assistant responsibilities is a plus but not necessary.
Excellent customer service skills to foster positive relationships with pet owners.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required when handling larger animals or equipment.
