A workshop associate supports the workshop manager in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workshop and lumber yard. The workshop associate will also assist the workshop manager with making sales, loading and unloading trucks, and building fence materials to be installed by the installation crew. A workshop associate should have a working knowledge of basic carpentry and power tools. Associate will need to be 18 years of age or older, have a valid driver's license, ability to lift 50 lbs. Preference given to persons who have experience driving a forklift and able to obtain a DOT card. This could be a part time or full time position. Duties include:
-Taking phone calls and/or emails from customers looking to purchase fence materials.
-Ringing in sales
-Loading and unloading work trucks
-Unloading delivery trucks using a forklift
-Building cedar panels and drilling fence posts using saws, nail guns and other power tools.
-Cleaning and organizing workshop and lumber yard.
-Deliver orders to customers homes using a company truck
