Diesel Technician/Mechanic

We're looking for an experienced Automotive Diesel & Gas Technician where you'll perform mostly preventative maintenance, and repairs of all levels on a real mix of personal vehicles in the industry. The opportunity is only limited by your willingness to grow our chassis repair business. This role is active, for an immediate start.

You will help our customers keep their vehicles in shape and on the road. You'll be to work independently while doing major and minor repairs, performing road tests to diagnose problems and completing maintenance tasks.

We know you are experienced, and we will rely on your experience and leadership. We work hard to get the job done, but safety and reliability are our No 1 priorities.

- 5 days per week. Tues-Saturday. 40 hours.

Main Responsibilities:

Making sure vehicles are maintained and safe for our customers

We work with a mix of different RV Chassis manufacturers from Ford up to Freight-liner, some Mercedes and Ram. We don’t always have to fix every issue, but we want to be able to refer them to the best repair partner we can for their repair.

Perform State Vehicle inspections

Doing preventive maintenance services on truck equipment with little or no supervision and in a timely manner

Comfortable Repairing and troubleshooting major components such as engines, transmissions and differentials, including replacing complete assemblies, turbochargers, fuel system components,

Qualifications:

5 years of practical experience with truck and tractor-trailer maintenance

Experienced using all tools of the trade (including welding equipment, diagnostic equipment, and hand and power tools)

Valid driver’s license required. CDL A or willingness to get.

The ability to solve problems

Excellent customer service skills and communication skills

The ability to work well as part of a team

Willing to work in non-climate-controlled conditions

Basic computer skills
