Our ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational and management skills, who fully understands the transportation industry.
This position incorporates assisting our Director of Operations in overseeing organizational operations and managing company branches. This individual will work well with other managers and directors, and be self-motivated to assist in problem solving and be able to see the big picture. There will be daily scheduling, dispatching, fleet coordination, and oversight of drivers. Ability to quickly learn new software programs is imperative. Attendance at weekly or bi-weekly meetings is required, along with a presence on Cape Cod.
A positive outlook, commitment to finding answers, and comfort with phone and messaging communication are essential.
Must have a good Driver's Record and pass CORI/SORI screens, and DOT/Physician's work approval. CDL may be required, but training will be provided.
The pay for this position is highly competitive and commensurate with the fit of experience and knowledge to the job requirements. Benefits include vacation pay, 1 week paid sick time, company gas card, access to health benefits if eligible, and more to come in 2024. $1,000 signing bonus!
