The Oak Bluffs Launch boat service is seeking qualified and reliable Captains for the 2025 boating season on Martha’s Vineyard
Seasonal Position, part time or full time shifts available, open 7 days a week Memorial Day - Early October
Responsibilities:
Safely operate the harbor launch to transport boaters between moorings and shore
Provide friendly and professional service to all passengers
Assist with daily launch maintenance and safety checks
Qualifications:
Valid U.S. Coast Guard Launch Tenders license or higher is required
(Six-Pack license is not valid)
CPR/First Aid certification preferred
Strong boating knowledge and experience operating smaller boats
Friendly, courteous, and dependable
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate plus tips
