In each case these individuals provide supplemental support beyond the primary services offered by our hired staff. The volunteers are selected and supervised by the Marching Band Director, in consultation with the specific Section Instructors for whom they will be providing direct assistance.Volunteers are held to the same standards as staff in every aspect of our operation from their interactions with students and their expectations as ambassadors of Boston College.All volunteers will receive direct mentorship and feedback from the Marching Band Director throughout the timeframe of their service to the Band.RequirementsAll volunteers are required to complete the University’s Volunteer Application process prior to working directly with the students.All volunteers must complete a background check and provide proof of COVID booster prior to volunteering to your BC Band contact.Closing StatementBoston College offers a broad and competitive range of benefits depending on your job classification eligibility:
