Title: Senior Business Analyst
Location: Dorchester, MA (Remote to start)
Duration: 6+ month contract
Position Description:
The Senior Business/System Analyst is the subject matter expert for designated Documentary Payments deployed technology solutions. S/he facilitates business process changes and re-engineers technical processes for greater efficiency while providing business application support for core systems and business applications used by lines of business
Responsibilities:
Participate in the entire project lifecycle of Payments applications.
Contributes technical knowledge to perform deployment and testing activities of the designed software solutions.
Apply the Mainframe technical skills to perform small changes to the software solutions provided by the software factory.
Organize the different groups involved in the development, testing and certification of the software to ensure that solutions meet the client requirements.
Leads the development of business requirements, functional designs, process maps, and user test plans
Acts as internal subject matter expert on the designated deployed technology solutions to facilitate business process changes and re-engineer technical processes for greater efficiency
Provides analytical expertise in identifying, evaluating, designing and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements
Provides primary interface with vendors to evaluate, implement, address, and coordinate new releases, patches, regulatory compliance and serves as the point of escalation during outages or periods of degraded software performance
Qualifications:
7+ years of business analytics experience
Mainframe, JCL, COBOL, DB2 is a must.
Knowledge on open technologies like Java, Mulesoft is a plus.
