You will be part of providing solutions to the world’s growing need for dependable critical infrastructure.This role can be remote—but the Sales Controlling Analyst will work within Eastern Time Zone business hours to support the team in Hingham, Massachusetts. (The new Sales Controlling Analyst will need to travel to Hingham initially to learn the business.)ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement the order and sales forecasting process.

Support the development and implementation of price realization calculation.

Participate in month-end process.

Develop and implement the project controlling function (set up the project’s financial performance plan for based on the planned delivery schedule, manage the financial plan throughout the project execution phase).

Identify and resolve discrepancies by collaborating across multiple functional areas such as production, marketing, logistics, corporate functions, etc.

Work with Legal and other teams to perform commercial/contract review and analysis for projects, taking responsibility for all financial and compliance related topics (e.g. Export control, Risk and Asset Management, taxes, customer account set-up, D&B reports, etc.

Work closely with Product Line Management to develop product-level profitability financial reporting.

Support incentive planning and management for sales organization.

Contribute to the design, development, implementation and testing of Russelectric’ s internal controls

Contribute to all financial integration activities.

Support and drive sales and cost synergy activities.

Manage cost centers within Russelectric, including actuals, forecast, and annual budgets.

Prepare various standard and ad hoc financial reports and metrics to provide meaningful and accurate financial information to for the Russelectric organization.

Perform complex financial and operational analysis to support short-term and long-term strategic plans and operating budgets.

Continuously enhance and improve reporting processes and standard reports to achieve the highest data quality and meet any given deadline.

Seek out opportunities for digitalization in finance to promote innovation within our standard reporting and closing processes.

Collaborate effectively with the other team members, Russelectric’ s Senior Leadership Team (SLT), BU management, BU performance controlling, Division management, Central Functions, and other Stakeholders.

Manage data gathering, root cause analysis, and performance to develop and own appropriate process changes.

Qualifications:This position requires employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 unless they are granted a medical or religious exemption

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting

Experience in financial reporting and consolidation, technical accounting, and process improvement

Ability to work Eastern Time Zone business hours

Ability to travel 5%, with visits to Hingham expected in the first few weeks to learn the business

Proficiency with SAP FI/CO, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Hyperion

Ability to learn and lead process-improvement using new reporting tools such as Dash Reporting, WebFocus, Fiori, and Tableau

Good verbal and written communication skills in English required

Good interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to influence people in a fast-paced multi-cultural business environment

Solid organizational skills including attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills
