HR Generalist

Description We are seeking a HR Generalist to join our team in the Oil & Gas - Explor & Prod industry, based in Westborough, Massachusetts. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity. The primary responsibilities of the HR Generalist will be to manage recruitment processes, handle employee requests, maintain attendance records, and collaborate with store managers. Responsibilities: Manage recruitment processes for retail employees using various platforms Screen applicants and organize the interview process for field managers Handle field employee requests including time off and general questions Use Microsoft Excel for tracking time and attendance for the bonus program Act as a strong support for field store managers Ensure some compliance, particularly with the I9 process Build relationships and provide support to experienced field managers Utilize Indeed and Excel, along with other onboarding software for various HR tasks Oversee the onboarding process for new hires Ensure the organization and tracking of all HR-related tasks and processes.Requirements Must possess a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience in a HR Generalist role within the Oil & Gas industry. Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and report generation. Demonstrated ability to manage Employee Relations and establish a harmonious work environment. Solid knowledge of labor law and HR best practices. Experience in Recruitment - Sourcing, attracting, and hiring skilled professionals. Ability to conduct interviews and assess candidate suitability effectively. Strong understanding of Compliance regulations within the Oil & Gas industry. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team as well as independently. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
