Service Delivery Technician Newton, MA 6 Months contract to Perm Need Candidates who are authorized to work for any employer in the US , Cannot sponsor Visa Location: The "central point" I would say Newton MA (cannot live 30 minutes away; needs to be close) Need local candidates
Important: Please provide the candidate city so that we know how far the commute is (mileage and parking can be expensed) Also, some of the work is remote work so that could be anywhere in the US if travel not required (remotely). But essentially if the tech needs to dispatch to an office due to hardware issues or other things, then these are the towns they would need to be able to get to quickly.
The but communities are Wellesley, Newton, Brookline, Arlington, Belmont, Cambridge, Boston.
Must have reliable transportation and high-speed internet at home (for troubleshooting remotely)
Brief description:
Provides hands-on user support by troubleshooting hardware and software problems for desktop and laptop computers. Configures workstations for new users and upgrades existing equipment and software. Sets up and maintains network and telecommunication systems. Troubleshoots LAN, server, and connectivity issues. Utilizes ticketing system, when necessary. Re-images computers, perform data migrations and restorations and conducts remote problem solving as needed. Must possess a working knowledge of hardware components, hardware configurations, and have strong software experience. Years Exp: 5 - 10. Experience: Relies on extensive experience to plan and accomplish tasks. Leadership/Contributions: Leads and directs the work of others. Reports to: Director. Advanced Degree or Certifications?: Yes.
