Description Robert Half is looking for a project professional for an interim opportunity as a Finance Manager.The Finance Manager will be tasked with the responsibility of articulating the financial results at the end of each reporting period and for each planning cycle. Join our team on a contract basis, where you will be working closely with management in various business groups to provide the required financial information, analysis, and advice in order to make financially sound decisions.How you will make an impact
Drive financial performance by developing operating and financial metrics, analyzing results and trends to create impactful insights, reporting results to executive leadership and key stakeholders, and improving forecasting and modelling accuracy
Use BI tools and financial systems to institute and automate reports
Work with business unit leaders for the completeness and accuracy of the material inputs to the company financial model and overall business strategy
Own, prep, and coordinate the annual/quarterly/monthly budget and reforecast processes
Manage the preparation of materials related to detailed business unit projections and highlight risks/opportunities
Develop strong partnerships with leaders across the organization
Produce executive-level management reporting, summarizing findings and recommendations
Coordinate with the accounting team to establish processes and improve close cycle times and reduce errors Requirements - Must be able to interact clearly and effectively in a fast-changing environment with excellent written and verbal skills
2+ years of people development and leadership experience
Minimum of 4+ years of progressive experience in a FP& A capacity
Excellent MS Excel skills, including financial modeling and data analysis capabilities
Previous experience with accounting systems and budgetary software
CPA designation or MBA preferred
Excellent knowledge of financial modeling and accounting implications
Bachelor or Business Administration degree with a specialization in Finance or Accounting
