Description:The Engineering Administrative Assistant will act as a crucial liaison between the engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams, ensuring seamless communication and efficient operations. This role involves managing documentation, overseeing configuration management, and providing general administrative support to facilitate the smooth functioning of our engineering projects.Key Responsibilities:
Documentation Management: Maintain and organize engineering documentation, including technical drawings, specifications, and reports.
Configuration Management: Assist in the implementation and maintenance of configuration management processes, ensuring all engineering changes are accurately documented and communicated.
Liaison Duties: Serve as the primary point of contact between engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and taking minutes.
Data Entry and Reporting: Input and manage data in various software systems, generate reports, and track project progress.
Quality Control Support: Assist in the preparation and review of quality control documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
File Management: Develop and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical, to ensure easy retrieval of information.
Communication: Handle internal and external communications, including responding to inquiries and distributing information.
Project Assistance: Provide support for engineering projects, including coordinating activities, tracking milestones, and ensuring deadlines are met.

High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Jira
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with engineering software.
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience in the maritime industry is a plus
