Position: Vendor Management Analyst Location: REMOTE Rate: Negotiable based on experience Duration: 6+ months
Position Description:
Lead and manage design and establishment of a vendor governance scorecard with appropriate KPIs and metrics Responsibilities:
Responsible for ongoing monitoring and management of scorecard regarding the level of performance against defined metrics and coordinating directly with key stakeholders that own the metrics to drive continuous improvement for the business
Will be responsible for supporting the build out of common scorecard and KPIs across the full organization and adherence and improvement upon those metrics
Drive and lead creating the benchmarks and metrics baseline, with adherence to continuous improvement principles
Lead and oversee a analyst driving metrics design and implementation across their respective end to end business processes
Compile and execute business related metrics and KPIs for vendor scorecarding
Effective internal interactions, secured through strong influencing skills, are an important link in the communication chain of the business unit and contribute to the effective implementation of vendor scorecarding
Drive adoption of standard vendor governance scorecarding
Monitor performance using defined metrics, evaluates to ensure that correct metric is being used and refines/recommends new Performance Metrics as appropriate
Assessment of the problem involves analysis of multiple complex data points across the scorecard, to make sure vendor funding is incremental and not moving between buckets
Applies expertise and core competencies gathered from major projects, functions, or business units to solve problems
Drive development of vendor scorecards and key stakeholder tools as part of developing and managing an effective KPI-measurement process in conjunction with the retained organization
Plans and assigns work within the context of a project /function
Lead and facilitate scorecarding reviews to highlight performance and insights in the various areas as well as key drivers for improvement and top challenges
Qualifications/Must Haves:
3+ years of experience in a vendor management position
Sharepoint experience
Intermediate level with MS Excel
O365 Experience (MS Teams)
Good verbal and written communication skills
