No matter who they are.DePuy Synthes (DPS) is recruiting for a Value Stream Portfolio Leader within the Joints Platform-Strategy, Innovation and Deployment (SI&D) team. This role will be located in Raynham, MA; Warsaw, IN; Cork, Ireland; Suzhou, China; Blackpool/ Leeds, UK. Additional locations within commutable distance of a Johnson and Johnson DePuy-Synthes (DPS) or MedTech facility may be considered.This Portfolio leader will be responsible for the portfolio management process for the Knees or Hips & Shoulder Value Streams within the Joints Reconstruction Platform ensuring alignment with Platform, Functional and Enterprise priorities. This PMO Leader will set the standards for execution of strategic projects and will be responsible for leading the strategic planning cycle and setting the framework for the E2E (end to end) Value Stream portfolio management process.Strong leadership skill with significant business experience are necessities for this role. Extensive knowledge of business process (financial planning cycle) and operational improvement best practices are necessary skills along with ability to engage across the organization, strong change management skills, and the ability to solve problems applying a risk based approachKey Responsibilities:

Lead the Value Stream Portfolio Management process in alignment with J&J MedTech (JJMT) and DPS Supply Chain (DPS SC) strategies & commercial and functional objectives. Lead effective alignment and prioritization process across E2E Platforms and Functions, and strengthen partnerships across DPS SC.

Lead JU/NU/BP/ MTP and YE business cycle activities for Joints Platform value stream – develop, implement, and lead dedicated process for reporting, decision making, prioritization & escalation

Along with business excellence, lead the VS Value Capture Plan (VCP) and Cost Actions to drive value through cost reduction, cost avoidance and optimization in DPS SC, setting and achieving year over year efficiency.

Work across sites (with site PMOs) to align on overall Value Stream priorities and investment requirements.

Leads all VS metrics & related governance processes including reporting visualization.

Support Value Stream leader and team from a strategic investment/ prioritization standpoint and by create insights from data to aid in decision making.

Manage competing demands relevant to project scope, schedule, cost, risk and quality, and stakeholder requirements to drive timely execution and delivery of commitments

QualificationsQualificationsEducation:

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree required; Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Data Science or related field highly preferred; Advanced degree such as a M.S. or MBA preferred

Experience and Skills:Required:

A minimum of 10 years of related experience required

Strong leadership experience with the ability to lead and influence across a global organization required

Project or Portfolio management experience required.

Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in bridging technical and business disciplines, evaluating, and determining appropriate risks required

Preferred:

Experience leading financial/ business cycle planning

Lean manufacturing and six-sigma methodology experience preferred

Product cost management and budget management preferred

Data Analytical capability preferred

Other:

Up to 10% of travel both domestically and internationally is required
