Small, independent market looking for a full time Line Cook in our Prepared Foods Department.
Duties include but not limited to:
Cook or prepare dishes on daily prep list
Create and prepare daily dinner specials
Place orders based on inventory needs
Rotate product
Assist customers
Candidates must:
have minimum 2 years restaurant experience; have basic knowledge of traditional cooking methods
have Customer Service skills; be able to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers
be able to work nights and weekends
be able to work in fast paced environment and multi-task
take direction
be able to follow recipes
be self motivated and able to work independently from a prep list
be able to stand for extended periods of time, bend repeatedly and lift up to 50 lbs
