Job Description:

Joska Healthcare Solutions, a reputable home health agency based in Taunton, MA, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Office Secretary/Office Administrator to join our dynamic team. This role is vital in supporting daily administrative operations, ensuring smooth communication, and maintaining an organized, efficient office environment. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills, be highly organized, and thrive in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and direct incoming calls, emails, and correspondence professionally.

Schedule patient appointments and coordinate calendars with field staff.

Organize, maintain, and update office files, records, and agency databases accurately.

Handle incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and other communications efficiently.

Assist in managing physician orders and ensure timely follow-up and processing.

Prepare and organize paperwork for client visits, assessments, and staff meetings.

Ensure compliance with company policies, state and federal regulations, and HIPAA guidelines.

Communicate effectively with medical providers, patients, family members, and internal staff.

Support office management functions such as supply inventory, data entry, and document preparation.

Assist with hiring and recruitment processes, including posting job ads, screening candidates, and scheduling interviews.

Perform other administrative duties as assigned by management to support the office’s daily operations.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred).

Prior experience in a home healthcare setting, administrative role, or as a medical assistant is preferred.

Strong organizational and time-management skills with a keen attention to detail.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Multilingual candidates are an added advantage.

Knowledge of basic healthcare administrative procedures and HIPAA compliance is a plus.

Position Details:

Employment Type: Part-Time or Full-Time in office

Schedule: Flexible hours available for both part-time and full-time schedules.
