Full job description
## Job Summary
We are seeking a Driver's Helper to assist our drivers in transporting goods and materials. The ideal candidate will support the driver in navigating routes, loading and unloading cargo, and ensuring safe transportation of items.
## Duties
- Assist the driver in loading and unloading goods onto the vehicle
- Secure cargo to prevent shifting or damage during transit
- Navigate delivery routes using GPS or maps
- Communicate effectively with the driver and customers
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle
## Qualifications
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle troubleshooting
- Familiarity with different types of vehicles such as flatbeds, dump trucks, or tractor-trailers is a plus
- Previous experience driving commercial vehicles like school buses or limousines is advantageous
