Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and maintenance schedules.
Interpret and work from schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to troubleshoot issues.
Conduct electrical repairs, including the use of an ohmmeter to test circuits and components.
Supervise maintenance staff as needed, providing guidance and support in their tasks.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management.
Execute welding tasks as required for repairs or modifications on equipment.
Skills
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in facilities maintenance.
Proficient in using tools and equipment necessary for electrical and mechanical repair.
Familiarity with CMMS software for effective maintenance tracking.
Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documents.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service.
Experience supervising teams is a plus but not mandatory.
Welding skills are desirable for performing necessary repairs.
