We practice LEAN manufacturing, prior knowledge and experience a plus!

Does that sound like you? If so, let’s review the technical responsibilities of the role. You will be responsible for:

Creating custom parts using in-house milling, turning, welding and 3D printing equipment

Working closely with our engineering team to:

o Develop prototypes from drawings, written instructions or hand sketches

o Support with post-processing and inspection operations on customer sample parts

o Determine best fabrication and tolerance strategies to reduce cost and fabrication time

o Perform modifications to existing parts or sub-assemblies per mark-ups as needed for prototype

development

Measuring and inspecting all parts to ensure dimensions are within prescribed tolerances

Managing shop facilities, inventory, tooling, equipment and consumables

Maintaining a safe and clean work environment

Performing additional duties as assigned by management in support of company goals

Following all safety requirements as outlined by OSHA and reporting all safety issues immediately

Knowledge, Abilities, & Skills Required:

3+ years of professional experience in a precision machining environment

Strong mechanical assembly and troubleshooting skills, previous machine repair or millwright experience a plus

Strong attention to detail and quality assurance

Welding experience preferred!

Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs

High energy, cooperative attitude with a bias towards problem solving and learning

A strong work ethic, honesty, being punctual, and a positive team player

Experience with the following a plus!:

CNC machines, tooling, fork lifts, OSHA Safety Training
