Our client in New Bedford is looking for a Senior Material Handler to join their team!
If you have experience operating a Raymond Turret Truck and have a strong Receiving background, this position might be the perfect position for you!
You will be responsible for reviewing and checking raw material packing slips for accuracy, receiving purchase orders, stocking materials, and picking the raw materials requested by internal customers. You will also be responsible for the weekly cycle count process.
The following is a brief description of some of the duties and responsibilities but is not limited to:
Perform daily activities using various computer programs i.e., Syspro, Wip Tracker, Microsoft Excel,
Bartender, BFI, Radio Frequency Scanners
Responsible for inventory accuracy within the raw material stockroom
Capable of lifting up to 60 lbs. with the ability to ask for assistance when required
Receiving material in from carriers and entering information in ERP system
Responsible for the weekly cycle count process
Safely unload and load trucks to ensure accurate and timely shipments to external and internal customers
Experience:
Data Entry: 1 year (Required)
Raymond Turret Forklift: 1 year (Required)
Receiving: 1 year (Required)
$16.00/hour
