Position Summary:

This is not your average customer service role. As a Customer Service Sales Agent at CJ Environmental, you’ll act as both a trusted advisor and a skilled negotiator. You’ll handle inbound inquiries and generate outbound outreach, guiding clients through the refining process, providing quotes, and negotiating to drive revenue and long-term loyalty.

Key Responsibilities:

Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email in a professional, knowledgeable manner

Explain our metal refining process, pricing models, and service benefits

Negotiate rates, volume, and contract terms to secure new business and retain clients

Proactively follow up on quotes, past clients, and inbound leads to close sales

Maintain accurate CRM records and sales documentation

Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to ensure smooth customer onboarding and processing

Consistently meet or exceed sales targets, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction metrics

What You Bring:

1–3 years of experience in sales, customer service, or account management

Strong negotiation and closing skills—you're confident talking numbers and terms

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable multitasking

Experience with CRM systems and basic business software

Familiarity with the metal refining or recycling industry is a plus—but not required

A results-driven attitude with a focus on relationship building
