Cortera, Inc. seeks Senior Implementation Consultant in Quincy, MA.
Responsibilities: The Senior Implementation Consultant will be responsible for customizing, implementing, and configuring Corteras e-Credit platform. Gather information on and understand each customers business processes and needs and determine how Corteras software solution will successfully integrate into the customers environment. Interpret and translate each customers business needs to technical specifications and develop and customize Corteras products to adapt to each customers business processes. Develop and test changes made to our software solutions that support the business processes of our customers to ensure that each piece is working as expected. Develop procedures to educate and train customers on how to operate Corteras software system. Develop, test, and troubleshoot software when necessary. Accurately and formally recommend and provide product enhancements to our customers and give technical input to our Product Management team regarding such changes. Other duties as assigned.
Education: Masters degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or related technical field.
Requirements: 1 year of experience in the job offered or similar software-related positions. Other special requirements include: 1 year of experience customizing, implementing, and configuring software to meet customer business needs; 1 year of experience with object-oriented design principles and utilizing technical software systems and tools such as Oracle databases and Windows O/S; 1 year of experience with Programming languages such as Java, XML, SQL, C, and C#; 1 year of experience with Agile development methodology; and 1 year of experience resolving defects by debugging and troubleshooting software.
In lieu of a Masters degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or related technical field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or similar software-related positions, employer will accept candidates with a Bachelors degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or related technical field and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or similar software-related positions.
