Hiring Movers for the upcoming Peak Season!
MacDonald Moving Services is a moving and Storage Company located in Bridgewater, MA and a franchise of United Van Lines. UVL is the largest Moving and Storage Company in the world and at MacDonald Moving we have an A+ rating by the Better Business Bureau.
We are currently seeking Packers and Movers for the summer peak season. Job Duties Include:
· Carrying household items of different weights and sizes varying distances
· Loading and unloading these items into and out of a straight truck or trailer
· Packing typical items in households or offices
· Wrapping and prep furniture to be loaded and moved
· Dis-assembling and re-assembling furniture items
· Interacting effectively with customers
Movers to start at $14-20 an hour depending on their experience.
Opportunity for growth into a long term mover position outside of peak season
Job Type: Seasonal/Full-time
Required:
· Must be able to pass background check
· Hard worker and reliable to arrive when needed and on time
· Ability to work well within a team
· Reliable transportation a plus
Optional experience:
· Having worked in the moving industry previously as a packer or mover, will reflect in starting compensation
