Come join us to drive integrated strategic customer and market insights for the Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) Business Unit across Biogen's Intercontinental Region! In this role you will let the development and presentation on market/business performances and give clear recommendations, drive strategic long-range planning and collaborate with key functional stakeholders on ensuring the business performance and impact are understood.
Responsible for developing and driving the strategic long-range plan (LRP) for the Region and select Local countries and in close collaboration with Global, including presenting recommendations to Senior Leadership, proactively developing business case scenarios, ensuring alignment on core assumptions based on insights.
Proactively sets the direction, drives and strengthens the forecasting process across the region, applying efficient methodologies using latest technology to drive robust and aligned forecasts
Drives the innovation advancement of the analytical expertise to support decision making, conducting critical analyses by integrating multiple data sources to provide an objective viewpoint
Being a close CMI Business Partner to management within brands/TA in facilitating thorough understanding of key business issues and opportunities and facilitating decisions being made based on insights, follow-up on impact
Leads Business Reviews, Annual Operating Planning, Forecasts, support the Integrated Customer Planning Process together with Marketing
Prepare briefing book ahead of Country Business reviews to ensure that Leadership are briefed on critical information and insights. Identifies and Raises key issues to be focused on during the Business Reviews.

Experience within Neurology and Rare disease is a strong advantage
Experience with product launches in the BIR region, particularly in support of building new markets, is a strong advantage
Expertise in managing people directly or indirectly through complex projects or matrix organizations
Has a broad understanding of BIR regional pharmaceutical data, including market research data/vendors, and which source to leverage in order to answer business questions most effectively.
Excellent strategic thinking capabilities with ability to synthesize large amounts of information and logically structure and innovative delivery.
Highly collaborative – must be able to navigate and manage the needs of multiple stakeholders and take guidance and direction from CMI peers and Senior Leadership.
Strong communication skills, particularly executive presentation skills.
