Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Corporate Paralegal in our Hi Tech Engineering industry based in Waltham, Massachusetts. This role will entail the review, assessment, and updating of various corporate subsidiary e-records/databases for entities around the world, with a focus on the utilization of Computershare GEMS for Global Entity Management.Responsibilities: Review, assess, and update corporate subsidiary e-records/databases for entities around the world. Utilize Computershare GEMS for the management of global entities. Maintain and manage corporate governance for both domestic and foreign subsidiaries. Utilize Aderant, Adobe Acrobat, and Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS) among other software applications for case management and billing functions. Handle briefing, calendar management, and claim administration tasks. Employ excellent communication skills in resolving customer inquiries and managing customer accounts. Process and maintain accurate customer credit applications and records. Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions based on account status. Implement CompuLaw for effective legal case management. Use your skills in briefing and calendar management to ensure smooth operations. Requirements Must hold a degree in law, business administration, or a related field. Proven experience as a corporate paralegal in a hi-tech engineering industry. Proficiency in Aderant, Adobe Acrobat, Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS), and Case Management Software. Experience with CompuLaw and handling Billing Functions. Must possess excellent briefing and calendar management skills. Demonstrated ability in claim administration and effective communication. Experience working with subsidiaries and foreign subsidiaries. Familiarity with corporate governance and its applications in the hi-tech engineering industry. Ability to work independently, manage large workloads, and keep deadlines. Strong analytical skills and the ability to work well in a team. Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Familiarity with legal terminology and principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other business software.
