TITLE: Robotics Engineer II, AdvancedDevelopmentCOMPANY: Corindus, Inc.DUTIES: Part of the advanced development team

for next generation product capabilities. Develop novel application for

interventional robotic systems using demonstrated experience in model-based

design of real-time software controls systems. Provide expertise in the

simulation, implementation and integration of complex electromechanical

systems. Key team player in driving solutions from discovery and feasibility

through definition phases. Design, implement, and verify industry leading

control systems using software development best practices, including continuous

software testing. Model and simulate new design concepts, including

hardware-in-the-loop. Realize viable concepts to demonstrate proof-of-principle

and proof-of-concept. Provide and maintain domain expertise of relevant

software technologies and products. Utilize state-of-the-art software tools and

processes to advance business goals. Generate requirements documents, design

specifications, and test protocols. Assist and mentor co-ops in the advance

development team.REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in Robotics or Electrical Engineering or a related field(or foreign degree equivalent) and 2 years of experience in the job offered oran acceptable alternate occupation. Must have 2 years of experience with thefollowing skills: experience in model-based development using MATLAB®,Simulink®, and automatic code generation; demonstrated experience in roboticcontrol analysis, design and implementation; experience with HIL and SimulinkTest verification methodology; experience with RTOS, such as QNX or SimulinkReal Time; experience with distributed control systems over CAN, and EtherCATfieldbus communication protocols; experience with multi-core softwaredeployment; strong C, C skills; demonstrated skills in Object-Oriented Designand Analysis with the use of UML; experience developing medical devices withinFDA, ISO, and IEC requirements and guidelines. Approximately 10% travelrequired.OTHER: Waltham, MA.
