Responsibilities:
Maintain mammalian cell culture (cells lines and primary cells)
Transfection and co-transfection of nucleic acids (DNA and RNA) by lipid-based reagents and electroporation
High-throughput PCR-based assays for quantification of nucleic acids
Nucleic acid (RNA and DNA) purification, visualization, and analysis
Quantification of proteins by western blot or luminescence-based assays
Modern molecular cloning (Gibson assembly etc.)
Qualifications:
B. S. or M. S. in Molecular Biology, Biology, Biochemistry or related.
1-3+ years of industry or academic experience
Skilled in DNA design and assembly
Experience with aseptic technique and mammalian cell culture.
Must be able to prioritize and manage a high volume, demanding, fast-paced environment
