Job Summary:

This position will cover two different departments: Business Process & Analysis and Business Requirements & Testing.

Business Process & Analysis Team:

Provide services to Insurance Operations departments in terms of project management, change management, workflow and productivity analysis (ARIS tool), and modeling of key business factors which impact the productivity of the various Insurance Operations departments. Successfully plans and controls projects utilizing numerous techniques to strategically direct, question and analyze the total project in addition to its individual parts. Accountable for the coordination and communication required to bring the project in on time and within the established budget. Directs project resources and efforts, participates in the decision-making process with all levels of staff and management and makes recommendations to effect positive change.

Business Requirements & Testing Team:

Provides support and services to Insurance Operations departments in the areas of project requirements definition, User Acceptance test planning and execution for system and application efforts across all platforms. Participate fully in the project development process, contributing to the development, enhancement and maintenance of company and vendor systems on various platforms. Work closely with IT and business sponsors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of system and application enhancements. Participate in the decision-making process with business sponsors and management regarding system and application enhancements and make recommendations to effect positive change.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree or professional level of knowledge in a specialized field, or equivalent, related experience.

Experience: 4 - 6 years or Associates Degree equivalent plus 6 - 8 years.

Complete understanding and knowledge of industry practices, standards, and concepts within field of work. Applies them to perform or lead work requiring extensive analytical business skills.

Makes decisions using broad management limits. Applies guidelines and procedures that leave considerable room for discretion and interpretation. Decisions directly influence project, client relationships and or expenditures. Additionally, decisions exert some influence on organization's long-range goals and objectives. Participates in determining objectives of assignments.

Work is performed without appreciable direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignment.

Plans, allocates the activities of project teams. Provides training and guidance to less experienced staff.

Applies knowledge to determine solutions to complex problems with minimal direction. Uses research and analysis to develop innovative and practical solutions which are consistent with organizational objectives.

Manages internal and external relationships. Represents organization as prime contact for projects and other necessary communications. Interaction may include senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring complex coordination between organizations. Communication involves persuasion and negotiation, as applicable. Seeks ways of improving client service.

Demonstrated skills in diplomacy, confidence, persuasiveness, enthusiasm, and verbal fluency.
Ability to promote and build a team atmosphere, motivating team members.
Proven analytical, problem solving, and decision making abilities
