Full Charge Bookkeeper (through Financial Statement)
Conway, Franklin County – 7 miles West of Yankee Candle
We hope to hear from you! This is a really neat company providing agricultural equipment and parts throughout the Northeast and beyond who needs to fill this very important position.
Duties and skills will include:
Management of all financial records
Supervise AP/AR, O/E, Purchasing
Adjusting journal entries, including Daily deposits
Bank reconciliation
Tracking retirement account
City, Multiple-State, and Local tax return preparation
On-line payment of monthly or quarterly taxes
End of moth Trail balance
Review various expenses and reports
Monitor software updates and review with staff
Monitor Health Insurance and other benefit plans
Payroll processing
Work with our outside CPA firm preparing documentation for preparation of tax returns
This candidate will possess a good understanding computer and network maintenance and have strong MS Office knowledge

Consistently produce accurate and timely work
Use effective oral and written communication skills with fellow employees, customers and vendors
Work with existing accounting staff in a leadership role, to encourage or assist them with their daily tasks and interface with other departments as needed.

It makes the work interesting as no two days are the same, and at times, the pace can be quick. Knowledge of the green industry may be an advantage.
